No :( I dont get to go on a holiday this year but I get to celebrate my birthday and work!

 

Nothing to special really just have a good time!

I am going to have fun and my new years resoulition is to try and save money

I might try to spend more time at the lake and less time working in the summer time and I think im going to try to prioritize things better

Things have changed derasticly from twenty years ago! Cell phones were different tv's werent flat, You didnt have voice talking in cars. There was no such thing as digital cameras, Kids toys didnt talk to them. We played with old fashion blocks! We didnt have ipods mostly CD's even casette tapes!
 I have had the flue symtoms for sure with headaches runny nose stomache aches and swore throat and yes it is because I have not been dressing for the weather.

100 years from now, people will live to be 200 years old and will have all the medicine to make diseases cured, We will no longer use cars but we will all fly around in our own air planes which are as small and compact as cars are. There will be know more "doing the laundry/dishes" there will be robots and machines to do that, We will have computer chips in our heads which we can talk on the phone with and use the internet for!

Remembrance day!

Remembrance day is significant in Canada because it helps us to think about the freedom we have because of those who died to make our country a safe and wonderful place to live. It is to remind us of how lucky we are and how thankful we should be.

The poppy is chosen because it grew in flanders field where the soldiers were buried after the war and it represents blood!

The person that inspires me most in the whole world has to be my aunt Judy. She is the most caring, lovable, and fun person I have ever met in my life. She has always been there for me since I was a baby and she actually helped the doctor when I was born because she is a nurse. She raised three wonderful kids herself and had a huge part in raising me! I would not be the person I am today without her and I am grateful for that. She inspires me to be the best I can be and helps me to realize how important it is to be happy and do what I love.

Elections!

The four different parties of Saskatchewan are:

Liberal Partie  Ryan Bater is the Leader of the liberal party. He is running from North Battleford as well

Platform:

 Rural Healthcare:  A new Liberal government will create an incentive to attract medical personnel into under-served rural areas. We will forgive a portion of their student loans for each year they serve in such communities — up to $40,000 for doctors and up to $20,000 for nurses.

Volunteer Fire Fighters:  We will introduce a $3,000 refundable tax credit for volunteer fire fighters who put in a minimum of 200 hours of service per year.

New Democratic Party Dwaine Lingenfelter is the leader of this party and Len Taylor is running for the battlefords. 

Platform: 50 million dollar overpass east of regina and autism support.

Progressive Conservative Party Rick Swenson is the Leader of the party. Gerry Ritz is running from North Battleford.

Platform: equal rights under the law for all without discrimination.

Saskatchewan Party Brad Wall is the Party Leader of Saskatchewan, and Herb Cox is for North battleford.

Platform: 6200 new jobs, lowest unemployment rate in canada premier brad wall said strong new employment numbers.

I predict that as a province and for north battleford the sask party will win and in second will be the liberals.

Halloween!

I am dressing up as a nurse for halloween and will probably help my grandpa hand out candy on monday.
I do not think halloween is an over rated holiday I personally love to dress up and be weird.
My little sister decorates our whole house with weird decorations and creepy pumkin things.

When I was young enough to trick or treat my favorite costume was my princess coustume and my favorite cany was the big kit kat bars!
I used to always go to my door and say trick or treat when I was like five and I thought it was hylarious.

Vacations!

I would definately choose to do my brouchur on hawaii! I would chose this because its a beautiful place and there is lots to do there.
I have been there befor and I would love to go back because there is so much more to see and do and I just loved it there.
My favorite travel destination was hawii and i went with my family and it was fun

The farthest place I have ever been is Hawaii, and I went with my family and I learned how to surf was the best part.

Thanksgiving!!!

We celebrate thanks giving to share time with our familys and give thanks for all of the things and people in our lives.
On sunday my family and I all gather at the lake and have a big meal together and we usually pick names for christmas at the same time!
I am really greatful to know my grandpa because he is suffering with cancer and my grandpa on my other side died from cancer befor i was born so my grandpa means alot to me. I am also greatful to know my aunties because they are all such wonderful caring and loving people I don't know what I would do without. And of coarse my bestie Cayla because life would be extremely boring and lonely without her!
My dog koda is deffinatly something I couldnt live without even though he is the most annoying little dog ever I love him to peices and he can always put a smile on my face! Another thing I could not live without anymore is my drivers liscence/car because I am the kinda person that is so busy I dont have time to wait for others to get me where I need to be and of coarse I could not live without my cell phone. I needa no where to be and where to go and whos where and be able to talk to people so my cell phone plays a big role in my life.

Movies!!

I Like all kinds of movies, Horror, drama, romance, action there all of interest to me as long as there is a good story to it. I like movies with a well known actor or actress in them, not the weird movies with random people in them.

The top movies at the box office this week were, The lion King, Moneyball, dolphin tale, abduction, and killer elite. I did not have the chance to go to a movie this week.
Opening this week in the movie world is "whats your number?" and 50/50
Two Dvd's that came out this week were transformers and bridesmaids.
Im looking forward to seeing abduction and the lion king 3-D
My favorite movie is the lion king! I have loved this movie since i was a little girl. It is such a great story and the characters are so cute. Its about a lion cubs journey to growing up and the obstacles he faces to become the king of the lions. I don't know anyone who would not like the lion king its a classic and a great story!

Blogg Ethics...

1. The three ethics this article thinks are important are, be honest and fair, Minimize harm, and be accountable. I think that they should be followed because other people can see it and you do not want to be wrinting stuff on the internet that is wrong, unappropriate or mean to readers.

2. I think it is important to follow the code of ethics because you could get into some big trouble if you don't and it could end up hurting someone else if you don't

I don't watch much tv because i am usually very busy. However when I do I enjoy watching Vampire diaries and fring because they are both about supernatural things that you would not see every day and because they are very dramatic and addictive.

Start of Grade 11

 Im not to sure on what classes I am going to end up taking this simester. My schedule got kind of messed up and I have to go switch some things around. Last year I was very happy with my marks and passes every class I took. My highest mark was a 96 in Info Pro 10 :). We get a long weekend in September because of labour day.
